Direct insurance related to the activity in Portugal of insurance companies under the ASF supervision registered, in the first semester of 2017, a 0.6% increase over the same period last year, standing at around € 5.1 billion. This growth benefited from the increase in non-life insurance (8.3%).
By June 2017, the Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) and Minimum Capital Requirement (RCM) coverage ratios stood at 182% and 529%, respectively, increasing 27 and 101 percentage points.
The overall net result in this period was about 210 million euros.
