The European Day without a Road Death is a Europe-wide initiative of the European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL) and uses the international designation E.D.W.A.R.D. (European Day Without a Road Death), which is an endeavour to achieve the goal of, at least for one day, not losing human lives on the European roads.
